The Association of Private Medical and Dental Colleges (Association of Combined Entrance Examination) would be conducting the Common Entrance Pre-Medical Entrance Examination – CPMEE-2018) on 27th October, 2018 for admission in MBBS‚ BDS‚ BAMS‚ BHMS courses for the year 2018.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Only those candidates who have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December 2018
Minimum Qualification
a) MBBS/BDS/BAMS: The candidates must have graduated 10+2‚ i.e. ISC/ Intermediate examination or its equivalent‚ after a period of 12 years of study
The previous two years of such study comprising Physics‚ Chemistry‚ Biology and English from a recognized Board / University and must have passed in all the above subjects
The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics‚ Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination
In respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBCs the marks obtained in Physics‚ Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying exam should be 40% in lieu of 50% as for general candidates
b) BHMS: The candidates who have graduated 10+2‚ i.e. ISC/Intermediate examination or its equivalent with Physics‚ Chemistry and Biology shall be eligible
The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying exam (XII) and the result is not yet available are also eligible to appear in the Common Pre-Medical Entrance Exam but such candidates shall submit the mark sheet of the qualifying exam (XII) on or before the counseling
If an applicant is inadvertently allowed to take the Common Pre-Medical Entrance Exam in violation of the eligibility criteria‚ of the admitting institutes‚ he/she cannot‚ at a later date‚ use that as a right to claim that he/she meets the eligibility requirements of the institutes
