Educational Qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS course:
The candidates must have passed 12th class examination
under 10+2 system with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology
and English from a recognised school conducting regular classes and
situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The candidates
must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks
for candidates belonging to SC/ST category and 45% marks in case of
OBC category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The
candidates must have studied 11th and 12th classes regularly from a
recognised school situated within the National Capital Territory of
Delhi.
Female candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled
Tribe (ST)/Children, Widows & Wives of Armed & Para Military
Personnel (CWWAPP category) killed or disabled in action in wars 1947-48
onwards and wards of Ex-servicemen personnel and serving personnel of
the Defense/ Armed Forces and all Police Forces who are in receipt of
Gallantry Awards, who have passed qualifying examination from Indian
Boards/Universities or Foreign Boards/Universities may also apply for
admission to Lady Hardinge Medical College only and have to come for
Counseling. They would be offered admission to LHMC only on the basis
of their merit in the AIPMT -2012. The condition of studying 11th and
12th class from a school situated within the National Capital Territory
of Delhi shall not be applicable to these candidates.
NOTE
(a) The Physically Handicapped candidates having disability of lower
limbs from 50% to 70% are eligible and may apply as per the guidelines
of the Medical Council of India.
(b) In the event of all the seats reserved for PH category not being
filled up from among the Physically Handicapped candidates with the
above stipulated physical disability then the seats will be offered
to the candidates within the physically disability of 40% to 50%.
How to Apply :
The application form alongwith Bulletin of Information
(BOI) is obtainable from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty
of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University
of Delhi, Delhi- 110007, against a Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque
drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of ‘Registrar, University
of Delhi’ payable at Delhi in the following manner:
(i) By hand: for Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty only) for General
and OBC category candidates and Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty
only) for SC/ST/PH category candidates between 09:30 A.M. to 03:00 P.M.
.
(ii) By Post for Rs. 800/- (Rupees Eight Hundred only) for General and
OBC category candidates and Rs. 600/- (Rupees Six Hundred only) for
SC/ST/PH category candidates, along with a self addressed envelop of
12" X 10" .
(iii) BOI is not available against “Cash Payment”.
The application form along with BOI can also be obtained,
by hand only, from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Maulana Azad Medical
College and University College of Medical Sciences.

Applications duly filled in and complete in all respect
should reach the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences on
or before the precribed date.
