| SLIET Entrance Test (SET) : Diploma Programmes Offered

Diploma Programme : The objective of the Diploma Programme is
to produce supervisory level technical manpower. More stress is given
for practical oriented class work in the Institute with an extensive training
in Industry.
Diploma Programmes offered are (intake of 30 students
in each) :

(DCT)
• Food Technology
(DFP)
• Computer Science
& Application (DCA)
• Computer Science
& Engineering (DCE)
• Electronics
& Communication Engineering (DEC)
• Instrumentation
Engineering (DIN)
• Industrial
& Production Engineering (DIP)
• Maintenance
& Plant Engineering (DMP)
• Welding Technology
• Foundry Technology
Entry Qualification :
10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognized
Board/University or a Certificate pass from SLIET in any trade. The candidates
who have studied Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology instead of
Chemistry at 10+2 level are also eligible.
Duration :
2 years.
Admission Procedure :
The admission procedure is based on Vertical Entry Seats (Only for SLIET
Students) and Direct Entry Seats (For outside candidates and SLIET students).
