| CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design) : CEED Exam
Structure
In CEED examination importance is given to the candidates problem analysis,
creativity alternate concepts, justifications for their Solutions and
visual and textual presentation skills.
CEED examination consist of two parts. The first part of the
exam tests the candidates drawing skills, aesthetic sensibility, creativity,
problem identification ability and their approach to visual
and mechanical (product) design.
The second part will be mainly of objective type , which
will test the candidates skills in visualization, creativity, design
and general awareness, and comprehension.
CEED qualification score is valid for a period of two years. Qualifying
in CEED does not guarantee admission in any way. The candidate will have
to again apply to respective IIT's, IISc for admission along with their
CEED score.
