BA, LLB Hons Five Year Integrated Course :
A candidate for admission to the Degree Course should have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or an equivalent examination securing not less than 50% of the total marks in all the core subjects and English language put together. They must not completed 20 years of age as on 1st July of the year of admission. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, the maximum age limit shall be 22 years as on 1st July of the year of admission.

LLM course:

A candidate for admission to the LLM course should have passed the LLB Degree or its equivalent from a recognised university and should have secured not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate of the maximum marks prescribed.

MPhil :
An applicant seeking admission to the MPhil Degree Programme shall have an LLM degree either from the NLSIU or any other recognised University, securing not less than a 'B' grade or an aggregate of 50% marks or its equivalent.

PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) :
An applicant seeking admission to PhD Degree programme must have a Master of Laws degree from any recognised University having scored a minimum of 50% or an MPhil in Law from a recognised University.

LLD (Doctor of Laws
) :
An applicant seeking to register for LLD should have a PhD degree. The LLD Degree is conferred upon a person for exceptional academic achievement in the field of law or inter- disciplinary studies having bearing upon law.

Distance Education Courses:
Distance educatuion courses is open to any graduate from any recognized University. Those who have appeared for the final year degree exam and are awaiting results, may also apply. There is no age requirement or minimum percentage of marks prescribed.
