Undergraduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) is a standardized test being administered by All India Management Association (AIMA) annually since 1996. This aptitude test is conducted at national and international level to screen the most deserving candidates into university approved under graduate programs such as BBA, BCA, BHM, integrated MBA, B.Sc. IT, B.Com (e-com), B.Sc. (Biotech) etc. UGAT is normally administered in the month of May every year across the country at more than 25 cities.

 

AIMA UGAT Eligibility

The minimum qualification for appearing in AIMA UGAT is 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board. Students who are presently appearing / appeared in their final exam of intermediate can also apply for the test. 

 

AIMA UGAT Test Structure

The 2 hour UGAT test for BBA, BCA, etc. is consisting of 150 questions, divided into four sections namely English Language; Numerical and Data Analysis ; Reasoning and Intelligence and
General Knowledge. Besides these 4 sections, the UGAT for BHM is having a Service Aptitude and Scientific Aptitude section of 1 hour duration with 50 questions.

Candidates applying for both, the structure of the test is as of BHM. However, their scores of sections 1 to 4 will be reported separately for the purpose of admission to BBA, BCA, etc.

 

How to Apply for AIMA UGAT

UGAT bulletin is brought out along with the UGAT form and profiles the institutes/ colleges/ universities accepting UGAT score for information of the candidates. It gives wide visibility of the institutes among potential candidates. The candidates are given the option to indicate any five of the participating institutes/ colleges/ universities. The data and score of the candidates are provided to the institutes/colleges/universities indicated by the candidates. In addition, candidates are provided individual score card, which can be produced to any institute.

For downloading your admit card kindly follow the following procedure:

UGAT results are normally declared within 3 weeks from the date of the test and the scores of the candidates are advised to the colleges / institutes.
