Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE)
: Selection
Selection is made on merit in BCECE conducted at various centres in the
State. The test is held usually in the month of May/ June. Separate merit
list is prepared for general/reserved categories. List of successful candidates
is notified in leading State newspapers /colleges.
Reservation of seats: SC-14%,ST-10%,BC-10%, children
of armed personnel-1 seat. Two seats in each college of Sindri, Muzaffarpur,
Patna and Bhagalpur are reserved for those holding a diploma in Engineering.
Seats are also reserved for Central Government nominees and for candidates
belonging to States/Union Territories which do not have engineering colleges.
