Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Examination shall consist of 3 papers of objective type questions containing multiple choice questions. Each paper will have 75 questions. The questions are based on knowledge, understanding and application of the relevant subject. Each question carries one mark and all questions are compulsory. There is no negative marking.

Subjects combination for and , total marks for each paper and time duration are as follows:

The Entrance Test shall be held at the centres as may be specified by the Board in the cities of Srinagar and Jammu only. Centres shall be allotted by the BPEE and the information regarding this shall be provided to the candidates on the admit card.  The Centre of Examination once allotted shall not be changed under any circumstances. Each question booklet is numbered. Before starting to answer the questions, please check the booklet thoroughly. In case of defects like missing question/questions, the booklet shall be replaced with the same series by the Invigilator. No complaint shall be entertained after the test.
