Selection for Engineering & Technology courses will be based on the basis of the WBJEE merit / option / with regard to preferences for Colleges/ Universities/ Institutions/ and Branches.

Selection for M.B.B.S. Course and B.D.S. Course will be based on the Rank position in the Merit List of the Joint Entrance Examination having regard to preferences for Medical or Dental Colleges and subject to passing the qualifying examination satisfying the eligibility criteria. Counselling of the Merit Listed candidates for admission to MBBS/BDS courses will be conducted by the Central Selection Committee (Medical). The venue, dates and time of the aforesaid counselling will be notified by the concerned authority in due course.

Selected candidates for both the M.B.B.S. and B.D.S. Course will have to furnish bonds undertaking to serve the State Government anywhere in the State for a minimum period of 3 years after passing.

It should be noted that the Board is in no way responsible for admission to the Constituent Universities/University Departments/Colleges. Allotment of seats to any Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy/Medical/Dental college shall be governed by different Central Selection Committees and accordingly candidates have to comply with the requirements of eligibility conditions for admission as would be laid down by concerned Central Selection Committees of the State. The Board only provides the Merit Lists of the Entrance Examination. Being Merit Listed does not make a candidate eligible for admission to any constituent University/University Department/ College.

No merit listed candidate will be allowed to appear at the counselling unless he/she is able to produce admit card issued by the Board with proper unmutilated / undistorted / unsoiled photograph with hologram.

Particulars regarding availability of branches in Engineering & Technology as well as B.Arch/ Pharmacy/MBBS/Dental etc. courses offered by the different Universities/ University Departments/ Institutions are provided herewith for ready reference of intending students. It is to be noted that final list for availability of seats in B.E. / B. Tech. and/or MBBS/BDS etc. courses shall be provided by concerned Central Selection Committees prior to the counselling and allotment.

Reservation : Reservation for SC/ST/PC candidates are as per State Govt. Rules. 10% of Intake in all Self-Financing/Private Institutions to be filled up through AIEEE Examination.
