India's brightest students to study postgraduate study in UK

The GREAT scholarship campaign, which was launched in November in Mumbai, is the British Council's biggest ever scholarship initiative. Sheffield Hallam University, UK is working in partnership with the British Council to offer Sheffield Hallam University India Great scholarships as part of the GREAT campaign to encourage India's brightest students to study at Sheffield Hallam UK.

Sheffield Hallam University is offering a total of six scholarships for the following postgraduate courses

MSc Managing Global Business
MSc Sport Business Management
MBA
MSc Wealth Management

Media, Arts and Communication

Media, Arts and Communication
MArt Animation
MA Animation and Digital Effects
MArt Digital Media Production
MA Filmmaking
MA Games Design
MA International Journalism
MA Public Relations
MA Sports Journalism

Bioscience

Bioscience
MSc Biomedical Sciences
MSc Biomedical Laboratory Sciences
MSc Pharmaceutical Analysis
MSc Molecular and Cell Biology
MSc Analytical Chemistry
MSc Pharmacology and Biotechnology

Psychology

MSc Psychology
MSc Developmental Psychology
MSc Sport and Exercise Psychology
MSc Clinical Cognitive Neuroscience
Scholarships will be awarded to well-qualified students who demonstrate academic, personal or professional achievement on their scholarship application form.

Value of Scholarship

Six students will be awarded a scholarship to study the Masters courses in Sheffield Hallam University in the UK.

Each scholarship will be worth £5000

A package of incentives is to be confirmed, but will include

the opportunity to become an alumni ambassador back in your home country
a program of events which aims to enhance your learning and social experience with fellow scholars

Successful scholars will be expected to represent Sheffield Hallam University through various activities during the academic year and after graduation.

Eligibility :

To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships you must :

have achieved a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in your honours degree and must meet the minimum course entry requirements. Please attach transcripts to scholarship applications.
have an unconditional/conditional offer to study full time MSc Sport Business Management, MSc Applied Sport and Exercise Science or MSc Sports Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University. Find out how to apply for a course.
have an offer for one of the specified courses at Sheffield Hallam University. If you have not applied for a course, please visit our online prospectus
be self-funding your studiest*
be domiciled in India
be able to pay any additional fees your course may require, for example field trips
have, or expect to achieve, a minimum of IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in all areas) or equivalent*

Please note students studying a Sheffield Hallam course at a partner institution are not eligible for GREAT scholarships.

Scholarship applications for taught courses starting in September applications must be submitted by May.

The applications should reach by May for the course starting in September. You must have applied for a course at least one week before the deadline.

A panel will review the scholarship applications. The candidates will be notified if you have been successful approximately one month after the deadline
