Anyone is eligible for taking the GMAT, provided that the candidate must be at least 13 years of age. Minimal computer skills are required to complete the GMAT test. The fee to take the GMAT is US$250 worldwide. For current information regarding test and service fees visit the site www.mba.com

For GMAT registration, you must first select a test center location. Test centers operate on their own schedules and can accommodate varying numbers of test takers throughout the day. After selecting the test location, you will need to schedule a GMAT test appointment using any of the following:

  1. Online Registration - To schedule a test appointment, you can complete the required details online on the official GMAT registration website. (www.mba.com)
  2. Registering by Phone - You may call up VUE Customer Centers to register by phone. Make sure to call at least three business days before the test date. 
  3. By Fax 
  4. By Mail

To schedule your appointment by mail or fax, you must first download and complete the Appointment Schedule Form from the site. You can fax it to the designated VUE Customer Center. It must be faxed at least seven days prior to the test date. If you are mailing the form, please include a check, or a money order, or credit card information with your form. Requests received without payment will be returned. Mail your completed form to:

One must send the documents at least three weeks before the choice of a test day. On receipt of your documents, an appointment will be scheduled for you to test at the test Center. Confirmation of the date, time and location of the appointment will be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation at least three business days before your first choice of test day, please call the VUE customer service center to verify your GMAT appointment.

All test takers in India must use valid passports as their ID (Identification documents). Without a Valid Passport you will not be admitted at the Test Center on your test date.

The test fee payments for test appointments can only be made by credit card or debit card. So, you need to have a Visa, MasterCard, JCB or American Express credit card or a Visa or Master debit card to register.

All payments- must be made in full, should include the correct numeric and written fee amount, must have the appropriate signature(s), and should be made payable to Pearson VUE-GMAT. Any questions regarding billing or refunding should be directed to GMAT Customer Service in your region.
