Important Dates

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 1st year M.Sc. (Applied Nutrition) Course at the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), Hyderabad affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, Telangana for the academic year 2021-22.

Eligibility

Candidates for admission to M.Sc. (Applied Nutrition) Course should have passed in any of the following examinations of the University of Andhra Pradesh or any other University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as equivalent thereto.

Qualifications:
i. MBBS
ii. B.Sc. (Nutrition)
iii. B.Sc. (Home Science)
iv. B.Sc. (with Biochemistry or Nutrition as one of the major subjects)
v. B.Sc. Nursing

Age: Maximum age limit for admission into M.Sc (Applied Nutrition) Course shall be 50 years by 31st December 2018. In case of SC, ST the Maximum age shall be relaxed by 3 years.

Duration: The duration of M.Sc. (Applied Nutrition) degree course shall be two years on full time basis

Number of seats: Out of the total 16 seats available, 6 are reserved for State Quota for applicants from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and 10 are reserved for Central quota for applicants from other States of India.

Entrance test will be conducted Online on Sunday, 8th July 2021 from 11.00 AM to 12.30 PM at Hyderabad for admission of candidates for the academic year 2021-21. The merit obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Test shall not be considered for admission during subsequent academic year under any circumstances

How to Apply

Application forms along with Prospectus can be obtained in person from the Head of the Department (HoD), Publication, Extension & Training Division, National Institute of Nutrition, Jamai-Osmania PO, near Tarnaka Flyover, Hyderabad - 500007 or can be downloaded from the Website: (www.ninindia.org).

Application Fee: All applications should be accompanied by original Demand Draft for an amount of Rs.3000/- (Rupees Three thousand only) in respect of OC/OBC/BCs candidates and Rs. 2700/- (Rupees Two thousand seven hundred only) for SC/ST candidates towards the application fee, drawn in favour of THE DIRECTOR, NIN, payable at HYDERABAD on any Nationalized Bank.

Duly filled in applications along with DD towards application fee and necessary enclosures under State and Central quota should be submitted to the Head of the Department, Extension and Training Division, National Institute of Nutrition, Tarnaka, Jamai Osmania Post, Opp. Tarnaka Metro Station, Hyderabad - 500 007. Application should reach the designated office on or before 5 PM of 28.6.2021.

The filled in application forms received after the time and the date specified above shall be rejected. Neither Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal nor the National Institute of Nutrition are responsible for non receipt of application or delay in postal transit or loss in transit.
