T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) invites application for admission to its Flagship programs
All the three programmes are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and are recognized as equivalent to MBA by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for pursuing Doctoral programs (Ph.D.) within India and across the globe.
Please note that an applicant for PGDM has the option of appearing for either CAT-2016 or XAT-2017 as the admission test. Those who are attempting GMAT also have the option of applying. TAPMI obtained necessary approvals of AICTE to admit a few NRI and PIO/Foreign National candidates as well. Eligibility criteria for these candidates are given separately in the Admissions Prospectus – 2017 and on our website. Similarly, scores obtained in MAT exam held by AIMA in September and December 2016 are also considered for the PGDM-Healthcare Management program besides the above three tests (CAT/XAT/GMAT).
Eligibility Criteria :
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
A Graduate Degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) in any discipline, recognised by the AIU as eligible for Post- Graduation, with not less than 50% marks. For Bachelor’s degree the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by the respective University/Institution. In case of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/ institution. If any University/institution confirms that there is no scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA, and multiplying the result with 100. Those who are in their final year of graduation may apply with the aggregate percentage till the last semester cleared. However, such candidates, if selected by TAPMI, are required to produce proof of completion of graduation by the time they join the PGDM programs and submit their mark lists and other testimonials within the stipulated date. If the Degree is obtained from a foreign Institute/University, AIU equivalence certificate has to be submitted by the candidate. The requirement of graduation also applies to those with professional qualifications like Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Company Secretary.
For computing percentages of marks obtained in HSC/ SSC Examination, the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the mark sheet / grade sheet would be considered irrespective of the Boards regulation
Valid scores of CAT 2016, XAT 2017 and GMAT 2015 & 2016.
