Availability of water resources, high rain fall and good temperature regime has stimulated state government to open a Fishey College. Hence, the College of Fisheries was inaugurated at Kawardha in Chhattisgarh on July 16, 2010 by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Dr. Raman Singh. The college is presently running in a hired building. A forty acre land has been acquired and a full-fledged campus is being established.
