Srinivas Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) was established in the year 1999 under the banner of “Srinivas Group of Colleges” to build enthusiastic quality professionals in the field of Management, Information Technology and Social Work.Srinivas Institute of Management Studies is affiliated to Mangalore University and is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Institute offers two Post-Graduation Courses; namely, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
Centralised Library: The Institution provides students with spacious library with more than 15000 books in 920 different titles. Separate libraries for Management Books and Computer Science Books have been developed which are centrally controlled. The Library is under the process of digitalisation and is expected to be complete in a few months. The Library subscribes over 60 Management Journals/Magazines and 20 Computer Science Journals/Magazines along with over 30 general reading magazines and newspapers. The Library is open for the use of students from 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
Modern Computer Lab: Students of SIMS are provided with spacious computer labs equipped with 120 modern computers assembled specifically to suit the requirements of both Computer Science and Management students with Windows and Linux platforms.
Wi-Fi Internet Connectivity: SIMS has a Wi-Fi enabled campus. Students can access internet from any part of the campus through the Wi-Fi enabled (Wireless enabled) laptop computers. The Institution has 8Mbps Leased line internet facility that can be utilised by the students throughout the day from 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
