Nalbari Commerce College

Nalbari Commerce College, Nalbari, is a premier co-educational institution of higher education primarily imparting education in commerce. Experiencing the vacuum and realizing the urgent need of such an institution, a good number of personalities from different walks of lives comprising of educationists and intellectuals, social workers, thinkers, businessmen had made a drive to establish Nalbari Commerce College in the late eighties of the past century. The pioneering zeal and endeavor of those learned persons gave birth to the college on 16 July, 1979. It is located in the southern part of the district head quarter and at a distance of about 72 kilometers from the state capital.

Canteen:There is a canteen in the college campus. Hygienic foods are available in the canteen at affordable rates. The quality of foods offered by the canteen is monitored and ensured by a committee headed by the Principal.
Common Room: Separate common rooms are available for boys and girls. Television sets, magazines etc are available in the common rooms.
Xerox Centre: There is a Xerox centre in the college campus which is attached to the Canteen.
Wi-Fi Internet Facility: The college campus is Wi-Fi connected. Teachers and students can easily access to internet in the campus. Besides, the Digital Library section in the central library has 12 computers which are Wi-Fi connected.
 
 Hostel Facility
The college accommodates hostel facility to the girl students. The Women Hostel in the college campus is well equipped and fully secured.
 
 Scholarship Facility
Students are given Institutional Poor Scholarship on recommendation of the committee constituted for selecting the deserving students. Besides the poor scholarship provided by the institution, the students belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories receives Govt. Scholarship subject to submission of relevant documents.
