The Department of Marine Science follows the general pattern suggested by Bharathidasan University in alignment with TANSCHE's scheme of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). To become a postgraduate in marine science the incumbent needs to secure 90 credits in a time frame of 4 semesters, the fourth one being project work semester. The conduct of classes and examinations and evaluations are as per the University system. The students are advised to check in for available courses and scheme of examinations both for core and elective subjects.
