The College started functioning in 2007-08. under the aegis of the Jamia Trust, Chithara. It is one of the august ventures undertaken by the Trust that avowedly stands for the development, progress and benefit of the public in general and the Muslim and other minority Communities and the backward and tribal people and backward regions in particular. The college is situated in a serene, lush green location in the vicinity of Chithara Junction and Chithara Govt. Higher Secondary School.
