Government College Of Engineering and Technology was established in 2007, as an autonomous body of Govt. of Rajasthan, amidst the brown blooms of desert island, Bikaner.This College is running under ECB socity with the aim to equip students with the latest engineering skills and knowledge to successfully meet the challenges posed by globalization and to provide comprehensive engineering education and necessary technical skills by developing a professional outlook in every walk of life.The college is a renowned institution in the field of Engineering, Management education.

Hostel Facility
The boys hostels has initial capacity for 738 students & the girls hostels has capacity for 305 students.
The college has a separate Training and Placement cell managed by a dedicated team. The campus interviews are conducted by blue chip companies like IBM, NBC, Kirloskar, IDBI, Simplex Infrastructure etc. The students are placed in companies like Mahindra, ICICI, HDFC, US Technologies.
