MIT College of Food Technology is established in the year 2006 by great visionary Prof. (Dr.) Vishwanath D. Karad. The vision is to take India ahead in the field of Food Processing qualitatively and quantitatively.The college is affiliated to Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri and Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research, Pune (M.S.).
Library:The Library supports the research and teaching of MIT college of Food technology. The Library’s collection includes more than 2075 books, subscriptions of 13 periodicals and journals from all over the India, graduation project/Research reports, hands on training reports, e-books and e-journals. There is a collection of newspaper cutting/clipping related to food processing, marketing, food industry, etc.
