IMEC, is the only Business School in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand offering PGDM program. IMEC has been set up as per the norms and standards of A.I.C.T.E., Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and is duly approved by it to conduct Post Graduate Program in Management. IMEC is debuting to undertake to offer flagship program i.e, Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) under the aegis of “MOSHAL EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT TRUST“, New Delhi. The purpose is to provide quality management education & training to the students by inculcating real life skills & emotional intelligence to help increase their academic & job potentials. IMEC B-School is close to highly industrialized area of Rudrapur known as State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (SIDCUL). SIDCUL is hub of more than 500 of pharmaceutical, chemical, textiles, electronic, fertilizers & petrochemical, motors, packaging & logistic and food & consumables industrial units. The land mark of SIDCUL includes Tata Motors Ltd., Ashok Leyland, Mahendra & Mahendra, Parley Biscuit, Hero Honda etc. Taking the advantage of this scenario, we intent to strengthen the industrial connect and the corporate linkage by implementing the following measures at IMEC: 1. IMEC has visiting faculty from corporate sectors who will assist in in conducting workshops/ seminars/special lectures on emerging areas of Business and Management. 2. Of note, IMEC has an Industry Advisory Board comprising of business leaders, entrepreneurs and other industrial advisers who will provide advice and assistance in placing our students in career positions; internships and consultancy opportunities. Importantly, they also provide assistance in the process of curriculum innovation and to ensure that our taught programs are relevant to the needs of industry. 3. We have a plan to launch joint Management Research Program involving our faculty and students with the co-operation of the organization 4. We will provide quality consultancy services to the industrial houses on the various problematic areas. Our faculty members will be the critical to the consultancy services, however the students will be provided opportunity be the part of the services and will work closely with faculty members. 5. We will arrange industrial visits on frequent basis and arrange for internship training and research projects for the students in these industrial houses

Library:Library has very rich collection of 1. e-journals, corporate & industry information and country research databases such as EBSCO Business Source Complete, J-Gate Social & Management Sciences 2. About 700 books on various aspects of functional areas of Management to mandate the research, teaching and training needs. Apart from text books in area of functional management, library also possesses books on various developmental topics including Emotional Intelligence, Soft Skills, Communication skills, leadership, presentation skills, Computer Science & IT, Analytical Reasoning, Time management, Interviews & Group Discussions, Harvard Business Reviews and many more.There are numerous business magazines and dailies to keep the students up-to-date in the challenging global business environment.
Language Laboratory:Language Laboratory at IMEC is designed for the students to develop Communication skills, inspiring accent and other developmental activities. The Language Laboratory is used for language tutorials. These are attended by students who voluntarily opt for Remedial English classes. Lessons and exercises will be recorded on a weekly basis so that the students are exposed to a variety of listening and speaking drills. This especially benefits students who are deficient in English and also aims at confidence-building for interviews and competitive examinations. The Language Laboratory sessions also include word games, quizzes, extemporary speaking, debates, skits etc.
Computer Lab:The Computer Lab is spacious and well equipped with adequate number of systems with compatible operating systems needed for the study, research analysis and consultancy projects. The OS includes LINUX based OS (KALI LINUX); WINDOWS 7 to run various application software (for example MS Office/OpenOffice consisting of MS word, Excel and PowerPoint modules). IMEC promotes the use of OPEN SOURCE software. Lab has 1-server room and all the systems are connected to internet through a dedicated leased bandwidth of 20 Mbps
