NICED conducts research on acute diarrhoeal diseases of diverse etiologies as well as on typhoid fever, infective hepatitis and HIV/AIDS related epidemiological research and screening.
Library :NICED Library is increasing its online resources of journals and books. It subscribes to Blackwell journals, ASM journals online and databases like Science Direct. Apart from these its resources include the online journals available through ERMED Consortium joined by ICMR. NICED is thus able to access 1500 full text online journals that this consortium offers enriching its online resources. ICMR has also formed its own consortium. JCCC-ICMR is an extension of J-Gate Custom Content (JCC), for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It covers 693 full text journals received collectively at 24 institutions/centres of ICMR and 215 open access journals.
