Monad University : School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences

The School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, seeks to improve the lives and conditions of people and communities in the Country. Applied science is a discipline that is used to apply existing scientific knowledge to develop more practical applications, for example: technology or inventions. In natural science, basic science is used to develop information to explain phenomena in the natural world. This information is then put to use for practical endeavors through applied science. Applied science is a branch of engineering, which is the mother of all other engineering technologies of today’s dynamic and fast developing growing world.

The Monad University has a spacious central library which is well ventilated and well illuminated for reading purpose of more than 70,000 books pertaining to various subjects. We have also four departmental libraries; library of school of pharmacy, library of school of architecture, library of school of education and library of school of law. The university subscribes to various national, international Journals and online database of repute. The library has an access for reference to latest publications of the research journals/ material and information through many computers connected to World Wide Web. Highly qualified and efficient librarian ensures the best possible information services. Photocopier and printing services are also available in library.
