The Indian Engineering College (TIEC), Vadakangulam was established in the year 1984 with the sanction from Govt. of Tamil Nadu and the approval of AICTE, New Delhi. TIEC is one of the distinguished and leading institutions offering a number of UG, PG courses in Engineering, Technology, Computer Application and Business Administration. The College is run by Selvam Educational and Charitable Trust and administrated by its Founder Chairman Dr. S. A. Raja and Chairman Dr. S. A. Joy Raja. The primary motto of the trust is to establish educational institution with all facilities to achieve its goal.

	Eligibility As per Directorate of Technical Education, the students must have a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in PCM. The student must have a just pass in HSC or Equivalent certification.
	Duration 4 years
	Admission Procedure The Indian Engineering College admits students from all over the world. They are admitted under Govt. / Mgmt / NRI quota. Govt. Admission: Students are sent by the govt. through counselling. MGMT Admission: The students are admitted by the management based on their Higher Secondary marks (+2) obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. NRI Admission: If a student or his parents or a blood relation is a non-resident Indian, he or she is eligible for admission under NRI QUOTA.
