	Eligibility 2 year Pre-University Examination of the Karnataka State or any other examinations conducted by any other Board such as CBSE or University recognised examinations as equivalent to 10+2 with English as one of the languages with 50% or more in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects - Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology as optional.; Students who have passed the 3 year Diploma in Karnataka are eligible to join directly to the second year BE course (lateral entry to III semester) through KEA or Management quota (subject to availability/ as per the guidelines of the State Govt. issued from time to time).
