The Department of English at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University campus is committed to the enrichment of language and literature and to give an impetus to imparting in-depth aesthetic knowledge with an endeavor to develop proper skills and ingenuity in the students who join the University to avail themselves of the course. Apart from academics, the Department also focuses on curricular and extra-curricular activities for the students, including Quiz Contests, Seminars, Declamation Contests, Group Discussions and Annual Play production.
The Department is well-equipped with the state-of-the-art Language Lab with multi-media audio-visual aids. TheLanguage Lab has 31 computer systems with Clarity Snetclass Communication Lab Software.
