Siddaganga Polytechnic (SPT) was established in the year 1988 by Sree Siddaganga Education Society, Sree Siddaganga Math, Tumkur. Dr. Sree Sree Sivakumara Swamiji is the founder president of the society and many leading educationists and philianthropists are on the Board of management of the society.The Institution has served for 25 years of excellence in training students in Technical fields and celebrated silver Jubilee in the Year 2013.Sree Siddaganga Education Society has over 130 Institutions established in and around Tumkur.A College of Engineering, Institute of Management Studies, College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Boys and Girls, College of Pharmacy, College of Education, Teachers Training Institute, Pre-University Colleges and High Schools are among the Institutions managed by the Society.
