Diploma in Nautical Science

1 .	Diploma in Nautical Science
	Eligibility 10+2 passed (with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and English subjects) from a recognized board or equivalent. Minimum aggregate marks in PCM subjects must not be less than 60%. Marks in English subject in 10th and 12th board exams should not be less than 50%. Candidate should be physically and medically fit as per Merchant Shipping Rules. Candidate should not be color blind. He/she should have 6/6 vision without the assistance of any visual aids.
	Duration 18 Months
	Other Details Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms of DGS, with eyesight 6/9 in both the eyes, and with no colour blindness.
