BGS PU College & BGS Science Academy draws its inspiration from the person, and life and teachings of Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji, Universal master and Model of education. It was established in 2000-01 and is situated about 2kms from Chickballapur on the Bangalore Hyderabad National Highway at Agalagurki. It is one of the finest centres of learning. The college is Accredited A+ and recognized by Pre University Educational board, Karnataka.
