The Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Centre for studies in Performing Arts (earlier known as Centre for Performing Arts), Dibrugarh University has been established in the year 2008 to impart quality education, both theoretically and practically in the field of Dance, Drama and Music. The major aims and objectives of the Centre are - Promotion of national integrity, solution of ethnic conflicts through cultural exchange and to create an opportunity before the new generation for getting employment in various fields of Performing Arts. Also to provide an opportunity to establish the North Eastern Culture in the global world through Study, Research and Performance.

Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA) | Master of Performing Arts (M.P.A)

1 .	Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA)
	Eligibility Passed H.S. or any other equivalent (10+2) examination in any stream.
	Duration 3 years
	Medium of Instruction English

2 .	Master of Performing Arts (M.P.A)
	Eligibility The candidates passed the Bachelor Programme in Performing Arts/ Music/ Vocal Music/ from Dibrugarh University or any University recognized by Dibrugarh University with a minimum of 50% marks in Music practical shall be eligible to apply for admission to the programme.
	Duration 2 years
	Admission Procedure Candidates having Bacelor's degree in Performing Arts in other stream other than Music stream may also apply for admission to the progaramme provided they shall have to appear an Entrance Test conducted by the University.
