Government Institute of Printing Technology is the premier educational organization of India, established in 1956.Government Institute of Printing Technology , Mumbai is an autonomous institute committed to provide quality technician education at Diploma level.

The institute has perhaps the best library that one can have with around three thousand foreign titles and over fifty technical magazines. The library is spacious, well illuminated and provides conducive environment for studies.
