The School of Nursing was started in the year 1985 for training tribal girls of Arunachal Pradesh. This offers a three and half-year diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery. The School is affiliated to the Assam Council for Nurses’, Midwives’, and Health Visitors’ Council and has been recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

	Eligibility The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary exam in Science stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

	Other Details Only female candidates are eligible to apply for this course. The candidates must be unmarried or widow without issue/ separated and the age limit is 17 to 21 years. In case of tribal girls, the upper age limit is 25 years.
