Bahra Institute of Pharmacy (BIP), Patiala was established in the year 2011 with the aim of providing quality education in the field of pharmacy. The Institute of pharmacy provides excellent infrastructural facilities to the students to analyze study and submit their own solutions. The Institute has collaboration with various organizations and hospitals, both Government and private. The Institute offers great opportunities to budding pharmacists in pharmaceutical industries and health care MNC's both in India and abroad. An exceptional curriculum is designed to prepare the students to possess significant role in managing quality healthcare system and drug therapy. As a part of their responsibility to the society, we educate regarding safety and efficacy of drugs while providing OTC services. To ensure that the students acquire personality excellence and leadership qualities in addition to the technical expertise, we include co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which are vital to excel in a competitive world. The Institute provides highly qualified faculty and staff with M.Pharm., GATE and Ph.D., qualifications. Campus Interviews are conducted regularly for providing better placement for the students.
Transport: The Campus has a fleet of well-maintained buses, bringing students & staff from all important cities, towns and villages within a radius of 60 Kms. All drivers has mobile phones which helps to keep track of their location and delays.Every Van has a log of all the students travelling on that route and contact info of their parents.
Library:Catering to the needs of students library has over 15519 books with 5180 on Engineering subjects. Wide range of Encyclopedias, Reference books etc . Table books enhance the process of learning. Various magazines and newspapers are also subscribed by the library. The general reference and advanced topics are also regularly upgraded to keep up with the dynamics of the world. Our students also participated in various Inter-college competitions and made us proud by winning various prizes.
