Dr D.Y.Patil Institute of Nursing Education, Pimpri is established by Dr.D.Y.Patil in the year 2000, the new millennium with the view of imparting nursing education to 30 candidates (Male + Female) every year. This is the only one nursing institute in the Pune Pimpri Chinchwad area. The institute is approved by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. It is affiliated to Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai.

B.Sc. Nursing | General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) | M.Sc. Nursing

1 .	B.Sc. Nursing
	Eligibility The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of : Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) Or Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), Pre-degree Examination (10+2)Or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized Board or University with Science (Physics ,Chemistry & Biology) & English with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks(PCBE), For reserve category 40%.
	Duration 4 years
	Admission Procedure Selections of the candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance examination conducted by Vidyapeeth or Competent Authority.

2 .	General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
	Eligibility 10+2 preference to PCB Group with an aggregate of 40%.
	Duration 3 years + 6 months internship

3 .	M.Sc. Nursing
	Eligibility The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of: The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
	Duration 2 years
	Admission Procedure A Selection of the candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance examination held by University or competent authority
