Dayanand College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2009 under the aegis of Dayanand Education Society, Latur. The pioneering Pharmacy institution started with B.Pharmacy (Four Years Degree Course) and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi, DTE Mumbai & affiliated to S.R.T.M.U.Nanded. The College is situated at the center place of the Latur City in a auspicious campus of 22 acres about 100 meter away from Shivaji chowk and 1.5 km from M.S.R.T.C. Central Bus Stand.Latur city is interconnected with all places in Maharashtra as well as many historic places of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka by road and railway linkages.

Library: Library is the heart of an educational institute. The college has over 6000 books on pharmacy and is being fully computerized by using software for maintaining all library operations including issue, return and stock maintenance so that faculty and students can refer the books and keep abreast of the recent development in pharmaceutical sciences. Book Bank facility is also available for the students of scheduled caste. Scheduled tribes and also for the economically backward students. The library also has some Non-Pharmacy books like Novels and some self development books so that students can develop their personality in all dimensions. There is spacious reading room which is open from 8.00am to 8.00pm.
Laboratories: The subject deals with the practical aspects of formulation, preparation and analysis of various pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. A graduate shall be able to formulate. Store, dispense and analyze the prescription and/or manufacture the pharmaceuticals and cosmetics at the commercial level. It also helps the student to acquire knowledge and skill to apply quality assurance principle including legal and ethical aspects involving drugs, thus delivering a quality assured product as per the pharmacopoeia WHO and ISO standards. Practical aspects of product detailing and marketing of pharmaceutical products are also taught. This department organizes Pharma industrial visit, training and getting industrial projects for beneficial of students.
