Madhusthali Institute of Teacher Training (MITT) is being managed by Madhusthali Vidyapeeth Trust, Kolkata which has vast experience in administering educational institutions of repute in West Bengal & Jharkhand. The Trust was established in 1990, Inspired by the noble cause of education and philanthropy, the MCKV Group, set up by socially-minded Kolkata-based industrialists, absorbed the Madhusthali Vidyapeeth Trust in 2006 to engage in charitable endeavours and for the purpose of creating, establishing, maintaining and managing educational institutions and institute–complexes with requisite infrastructural facilities for the human resource development of the country in general, and in the states of Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal in particular.
