The Institute was first established as Food Craft Institute in the year 1996 was upgraded to the Institute of Hotel Management in the year 2001. It is setup by the Department of Tourism, Govt. of Rajasthan and affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, NOIDA, an apex body under the ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.
The Institute has state of art infrastructure to provide quality training in the filed of Hotel Management and equipped with following:- Basic Training Kitchen (BTK), Advance Training Kitchen (ATK), Quantity Food Kitchen (QFK), Bakery & Confectionary, Mock bar
Hostel Facility
The Institute has a well facilitate separate hostel facility for both Girls And Boys.
