Scholarship Description

University of Aberdeen is offering three Law School Merit Scholarships for two postgraduate students from any country and one postgraduate student from England, Wales or Northern Ireland through a one year full time Master of Laws (taught) programme at the University of Aberdeen.

Scholarship Amount :

The scholarships typically cover tuition fees that amounts to £7,500 each for a period of one year

Eligibility:

Applicant will need to have applied to the University of Aberdeen for a place on a one year full time Master of Laws (taught) program starting in September of the current year. To be awarded a scholarship student must receive and then firmly accept an offer of a place on a Master of Laws (taught) degree program.

Selection Criteria: The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.

The scholarship will be subject to the scholarship recipient successfully completing their courses to the satisfaction of the Law School. The scholarship will lapse if the scholar ceases to study an eligible degree program or leaves the University of Aberdeen. The scholarship can only be held by students of the University – they cannot be transferred to another institution.
