Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :candidates must have
attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21
years on the 1st August, 2012 i.e. he must have been born not earlier
than 2nd August, 1991 and not later than 1st August, 1995 are eligible.
Educational Qualifications :
Intermediate or Senior Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10+2
pattern of School Education or equivalent with Mathematics and at least
one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as Subjects of the Examination
in Ist or IInd Division.
Candidates appearing at the Intermediate/Senior Secondary (12 years)
examination under 10+2 pattern of School Education/Ist year of the 3
years degree course or equivalent examination with the prescribed subjects
also eligible subject to certain conditions. They will be required to
submit proof of passing by the specified dates published in Commission's
Notice for Examination.
Physical Standards :
Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for
admission to Special Class Railway Apprentices’ Examination, 2012
How to Apply :
The application form along with an Information Brochure containing
general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card
and an envelope for sending the application will be obtainable from
the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country
against cash payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees twenty only). Form should be
purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post Offices only and
not from any other agency. This form can be used only once and for only
one examination.
