Maulana Azad National Urdu University Launches New Satellite Campus at Bidar in Karnataka |

With an aim to offer academic and professional programmes through its satellite campuses, the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has launched its new satellite campus at Bidar in Karnataka, where Urdu population will have extended opportunity and subsequently employment. The development of skill based, vocational and higher education are among the priority areas of the Union government, he added, the University said in a release here today. Union HRD Minister Dr M M Pallam Raju after laying the Foundation Stone at Ganesh Maidan at Bidar, said the satellite Campus an extended opportunity to Education and Employement.
Karnataka Chief Minister Mr Siddaramaiah, who attended the ceremony, asked the people of the area to take the benefit of the courses offered by MANUU. He also promised support and cooperation for Urdu University Satellite Campus of Bidar in every possible manner. MANUU Vice-Chancellor Prof Mohammad Miyan while presiding over the function thanked former Karnataka Chief Minister Dr N Dharam Singh and Deputy commissioner of Bidar Dr PC Jaffer for rendering support in acquiring the land for the University. The Vice Chancellor also promised to launch ITI, Polytechnic and Teacher Training programmes from the very next academic session. University instead of a satellite campus at Bidar. |
