New admissions from class 1-12 to be completed by November 25 in Kashmir

After mass promotions in primary, middle and high schools in view of the unrest in Kashmir valley, the admission process to new classes from Classes 1 to 12, shall be completed by or before November 25, 2016.

A Spokesperson of the Director School Education Kashmir here today said the provisional admission shall commence as per past practice - two weeks after 10th class examination is over for class 11th.

He said instructions have been issued to the Head of the Institutions to complete pending practical work of 10th and 12th class students appearing in regular examination, session 2016 within 15 days from the date of completion of 10th and 12th class examination respectively, so that they are able to take their external practical examinations.

''Classes shall commence immediately and Time Table shall be prepared, as per the standard practice. The Time Table shall be implemented in letter and spirit,'' the Spokesperson added.
