Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) invites application for 2 years M.Sc. (Food Technology) Degree Course for the years 2019-2021
Eligibility
Bachelor Degree in Science or Agriculture /Horticulture / Engineering / Technology.
Minimum Marks Requirement
(i) 55% in optional subjects of B.Sc. pass course (50% for SC / ST category)
(ii) 50% for B.Sc. (Hons.) course (45% for SC / ST category)
(iii) Minimum second class for Agriculture / Horticulture / Engineering / Technology
Entrance Test
Online Entrance Test will be conducted at Mysore. Admit card will be generated immediately on filling the application form. Students securing minimum 50 marks (General / OBC students / Defence personnel) and 45 marks (SC/ST students) in the Entrance Examination will be eligible for admission to the course.
Course Fee:-
The course fee per Semester will be Rs. 25,000/- (Rs. 50,000/- for sponsored candidates) and there will be four semesters.
Reservation
For SC / ST and Persons with physical disabilities – Applicable for admission to the course as per the Government Orders in this regard.
Candidates claiming reservation under the specific category are to provide attested documents as proof in support of their claims.
Selection Process
Equal weightage of 50% out of the marks scored in degree as well as in Entrance Examination will be considered for the preparation of All India Merit list subject to reservation.

Application Fee of Rs. 472/- (inclusive of GST @ 18%) by SC/ST Students and Rs. 944/- (inclusive of GST @ 18%) by other students may be paid by Transfer / NEFT / RTGS as per the bank details provided:-
