Central Institute of Tool Design is a Premier Institute in India to provide specialized training in Tool Engineering, CAD/CAM, VLSI &Embedded Systems and Mechatronics. The Institute was established in the year 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO. Institute offers placement assistance for the above courses. Some of our Placement clients are Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Tata Motors Ltd, Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Eicher Motors, Titan Industries Ltd, Axis IT, John Deere India Pvt Ltd, Hyundai Mobis India R&D Pvt. Ltd, iGate Patni, Infoteh Enterprises Ltd., etc.

The Institute invites applications from interested candidates in the prescribed format for admission into the following four Diploma Courses for the academic year 2021.

Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 19 years (not born before 01.04.1999) Relaxation upto 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.

Course Fee : Rs.19,000/- per semester.

Mode of Selection : Candidates under all categories will be selected based on the rank obtained in the CITD Entrance examination.

Cost of Application

Rs.700/- for general and Rs 350/- for SC/ST category candidates and for PWD candidates fully exempted. However SC/ST/PWD category candidates need to enclose proof of their category duly attested by a Gazetted Officer

How to Apply

Application form and prospectus can be obtained from Training Department, MSME- Tool oom /Central Institute of Tool Design, Balanagar, Hyderabad - 500 037, on any working day between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM.(Weekly holiday - Sunday) by paying application cost prescribed by challan or a crossed demand draft drawn in favor of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad, on any Nationalized Bank, preferably on State Bank of Hyderabad, Balanagar Branch, Hyderabad - 37.

Application form can also be downloaded from our website www.citdindia.org and the filled in application forms can be sent to the Director (Trg), CITD, Balanagar, Hyderabad-500 037, along with prescribed application cost by way of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad.

NOTE:

1. Reservation for SC/ST/PWD quota exists as per Govt. of India norms.
2. Age relaxation upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
3. The Institute is not responsible for any postal delay.
4. The seats advertised are provisional and the Institute reserves the right to increase or
   decrease the number of seats.
5. The rules made by the Institute regarding selection and closure of the admissions shall be
   final and the Institute reserves the right to alter, vary, change and / or modify the rules
   governing the admissions.
6. Candidates are advised to refer the prospectus for further details.
7. Limited Hostel accommodation is available for outstation candidates on payment of
   prescribed fee.
