Central Institute of Tool Design is an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 29990:2010, ISO 14001:2004, and ISO 50001:2011 certified premier Institute in Asia to provide specialized training in Tool Engineering, CAD/CAM, Mechatronics & Robotics. The Institute was originally established in the year 1968 by the Govt, of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO.
Applications are invited in the prescribed format for admissions into the following Long Term course conducted under Industry-Institution joint programme with JNTU, Hyderabad, Approved by AICTE, commencing from September, 2019.
Master of Technology (M.Tech) - Mechatronics - (2 years / 4 semesters)\
25 seats (15 General+3 SC+1 ST+1 PH Self sponsored+ 5 Industry Sponsored) ( + 7 OBC Non Creamy Layer Category SUBJECT TO APPROVAL FROM JNTUH)
Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. in Mech. ECE/ EEE/ EIE/ Mechatronics/ Automobile/ Aeronautical Engg.) or equivalent. Minimum of 55% marks in the Qualifying examination from the Institutions approved by AICTE.
Course fee : Self Sponsored - Rs. 41,000/- per semester Sponsored - Rs.51,000/- per semester
Age : 45 years
Cost of Application : Rs. 800/- for general category and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST category candidates and for PWD candidates fully exempted. However SC/ST/PWD category candidates need to enclose proof of their category duly attested by a Gazetted Officer
Mode of Selection:
(1) Candidates under all categories will be selected based on the rank obtained
in the Entrance examination. (2) Reservation for SC/ST/PWD quota exists as per
Govt, of India norms.
