GITAM Admission Test (GAT) is a computer based online test conducted for admission to UG & PG Technology & Pharmacy Programs in GITAM University at its Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru Campuses.

GAT (UGTP) - 2024`
The GAT(UGTP)-2024 (Online Admission Test) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate programs offered at Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam campuses.
Eligibility criteria:
Pass in Intermediate or 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% aggregate marks for B.Arch./B.Pharm.) in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent either in 2023 or 2022 and Rank obtained in GAT(UGTP)-2023.
Details of Admission Test GAT (UGTP) - 2024:
The duration of the test is 2 hours. The test consists of three sections and all questions are objective type (multiple choice questions). Each question has four options out of which one is correct. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted from the score for each wrong answer. The unanswered questions will receive nil marks.

Admission to M.Tech. , M.Arch. & M.Pharm. Programs
GAT (PGTA) - 2024
Online Admission Test is conducted for admission to M.Tech. programs offered at Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam Campuses and M.Arch. program offered at Visakhapatnam campus.
Eligibility criteria:
First class or equivalent grade in the Qualifying Examination from recognized university with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% aggregate marks for M.Arch.) and rank obtained in GAT (PGTA) 2021. For branch wise eligibility criteria visit www.gitam.edu
Details of Admission Test (PGTA) – 2024:
The duration of the test is 2 hours. All questions are objective type (multiple choice questions).

GAT (PGP) – 2024
Online Admission Test is conducted for admission to M.Pharm. programs offered at Visakhapatnam Campus.
Eligibility criteria:
Pass in B.Pharm. from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and rank obtained in GAT (PGP) - 2024.

The duration of the test is 2 hours. All questions are objective type (multiple choice questions)

How to apply
Candidates can apply in any one of the following methods:
(i) Apply Online at www.gitam.edu through Debit card / Credit card (Master / VISA)
(ii) Applications can be obtained by post from Director-Admissions by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate’s name with complete mailing address accompanied by DD for ` 150/- drawn in favour of GITAM (Deemed to be University) payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank.
(iii) Applications are also available throughout India in select branches of
- Union Bank of India
- Indian Bank
- Karur Vysya Bank
The filled - in application along with Demand Draft for ` 1,000/- (` 600/- for female candidates), drawn in favor of GITAM (Deemed to be University), payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank, should reach Director-Admissions, GITAM (Deemed to be University), Gandhi Nagar Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam - 530 045, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA on or before 4th January 2024.
