Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) was established in 2003 to provide proactive support to professional education & facilitate & streamline admission to postgraduate professional courses, viz., MBA, PGDM & MCA. There are 169 + member B Schools of KPPGCA located across Karnataka.
KMAT was born out of the felt - need to have a single unifed test for admissions in the State of Karnataka into professional courses viz MBA, PGDM and MCA. KMAT is conducted for admission to AICTE approved University affiliated Self-financing colleges in Karnataka.
Eligibility :
Eligibility criteria for admission into certain professional courses in Karnataka, such as MBA, PGDM, and MCA, typically include the following requirements:
Bachelor's Degree: Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree
with a minimum duration of three years or a Master's degree from a recognized
educational institution. The degree should be in fields such as Commerce,
Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/Technology, or an equivalent
discipline.
Minimum Marks: Candidates are required to
have secured at least 50% marks in the aggregate for general category
candidates. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, a minimum of 45% marks
is typically accepted.
Final Year Candidates: Students
who are in the final year of their Bachelor's degree program are usually
eligible to apply, provided they meet the minimum percentage requirement at the
time of application.

universities may have variations in their eligibility criteria, and applicants
should verify the exact requirements of the program they are interested in
