AMRITA SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, a constituent Unit of the AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM (a Deemed University established under Section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956) conducts MBBS & BDS in its Health Sciences Campus at Kochi, Kerala, India. Selection for admissions is based on the rank obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2024).
The Ministry of Human Resource development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI)
has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and
self-sustained premier testing organisation for conducting efficient,
transparent and international standard test in order to access the competency of
candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.
As per
regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act -1956 and the Dentists
Act-1948 and as amended from time to time, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE
TEST (UG) 2024 (NEET (UG) - 2024) will be conducted by National Testing Agency
(NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Indian Medical/Dental Colleges run
with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the
Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the
institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.
The responsibility of the NTA is limited to the conduct of the entrance
examination, declaration of result and for providing an “All India Rank merit
list” to the Directorate General Health Service, Government of India for the
conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the
result to States/other Counselling Authorities.

Selection:
Selection for MBBS Admissions is based on the NEET UG – 2024 All India Rank (AIR). After NEET UG – 2024 results are published; candidates are advised to visit the MCC website for participating in All India Deemed University UG counselling conducted by the Directorate General of health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), New Delhi. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the MCC website for latest notifications regarding counselling schedule / reschedules / counselling scheme and other updations after NEET-UG 2024results.

b) Application Fee can be paid only by Net Banking / Debit / Credit Card
c) Bank charges if any will be borne by the candidate.
d) Application Fee is Non-refundable and no correspondence on the subject will
be entertained.
