The Government of India through an Act of Parliament, notified on 26th June 1998 , the First National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) in the country at S.A.S Nagar (Mohali) as a Centre of Excellence for imparting higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences and management. During the years 2007 and 2008, Government of India established six more NIPERs . Presently there are following NIPERs functioning in different parts of the country:

ELIGIBILITY :
The candidate should have qualified GPAT/GATE/NET/ any other National Fellowship (valid score card). In addition to the above-mentioned, subject-wise qualifying degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA of 6.75 on a 10-point scale wherever grades are awarded or equivalent. Percentage of marks or CGPA so calculated will be based on the norms fixed by the concerned University/ Institution or aggregate marks or CGPA scored by the candidate for all years of the qualifying degree, in case the University/ Institution has not prescribed any norm for calculating such percentage or CGPA.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
TApplicants shall apply online on www.niperguwahati.ac.in as per instructions given on the website. The process of online application shall commence from 25th April 2024 onwards and will continue till 24th May 2024 (The proposed dates are tentative, and any changes will be updated on the NIPER Guwahati / NIPER JEE website). The webpage for the online application form could be accessed through the link provided on the official website of NIPER Guwahati / NIPER JEE 2024 (https://niperguwahati.ac.in/niperjee/). The online application process comprises of following steps:

Step 2: Know your payment status
Step 3: Fill in all the details in your online Application Form
Step 4:
Preview your duly filled in Application Form
Step 5: Verify your details and
submit your Application Form
Step 6: Take the printout of the Application
Form and to submit at the time of
physical counselling.
While filling out the online application form, please choose the email ID you access frequently, as all communications from the NIPER Guwahati JEE Office will be sent to that email ID only (do not use anybody else’s email address). NIPER JEE office is no way responsible in case wrong email ID or mobile number is registered.
Exam centres
A written test for all programmes will be held at Ahmedabad , Kolkata , Aurangabad , Lucknow , Bangalore ,Mumbai ,Bhopal , Nagpur , Bhubaneswar , New Delhi , Chandigarh Jaipur , Patna , Chennai , Pune , Guwahati , Ranchi , Hyderabad , Thiruvananthapuram , Jaipur and Vijayawada.
