A Combined Defence Services Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on September 14th, 2025 for admission to the courses mentioned below.

Indian Military Academy Dehradun 147th Course [includes vacancies reserved for NCC Certificate (Army Wing) holders].- 100 Vacancies
Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala-Course Executive (Hydro/ General Service) (including 06 vacancies reserved for NCC 'C' Certificate holders (Naval Wing) - 45 Vacancies
Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training i.e. No. 204 F/PC Course. - 32 Vacancies
Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 108th SSC Course (for Men) - 225 Vacancies
Officers Training Academy, Chennai 22nd SSC Women (NonTechnical) - 15 Vacancies
(a)Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :
For Indian Military Academy
Candidates must be unmarried and must be within the age limit 19 to 26 years 19 to 24 years
For Navel Academy
Unmarried male candidates can apply for INA.
For Air Force Academy
To apply for AFA, the age of candidates should be between 20 to 24 years. The upper age limit of candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years
For Officer's Training Academy
(SSC Course for Men) : Candidates must be unmarried and must be within the age limit 19 to 26 years
For Officers, Training Academy
(SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees who have not remarried are eligible to apply.
(b)Educational Qualification:
For Indian Military Academy and Officer's Training Academy Degree of
a recognized university or equivalent.
For Naval Academy B.Sc (with Physics & Mathematics) or Bachelor of
Engineering.
For Air Force Academy Degree of a recognized University (with Physics
& Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Candidates who are studying in final year Degree Course and have yet to pass
final year degree examination or equivalent examination can also apply for examination,
but they will be required to submit proof of passing by the specified dates
published in Commission's Notice for Examination.

Centres and the date of holding the examination as mentioned above are liable to be changed at the discretion of the Commission.
How to Apply :
Candidates are required to apply On-line using the link https://upsc.gov.in/ Detailed instructions for filling up Online Applications are available on the above mentioned website.
The applicants are advised to submit only single application; however if due to any unavoidable situation, if he/she submits another/multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that application with the higher RID (Registration ID) is complete in all respects like applicants details, examination centre, photograph, signature, fee etc. The applicants who are submitting multiple applications should note that only the applications with higher RID (Registration ID) shall be entertained by the Commission and fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.
