ISHWAR Institute of Prosthetics & Orthotics (IIPO), Chennai has invited applications for admissions to its BPO(Bachelor in Prosthetics & Orthotics) Program 2018. ISHWAR Institute of Prosthetics and Orthotics (IIPO) is a specialized training Institute run by International Society for Human Welfare and Rehabilitation (ISHWAR). IIPO came into existence in the year 2007 with the conduct of its first RCI accredited Continuing Education Programme in its facility.
Eligibility:
10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany & Zoology or Mathematics or Computer Science with minimum of 50% marks in each subject for all categories and 40% in aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC categories. The Candidates should have passed in all subjects of the qualifying examination of Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) conducted by the Tamilnadu State Board or any other equivalent examination.
The Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination with PCB/PCM subjects OR awaiting results of 10+2 can also apply. However, their admission shall be subject to fulfilling the passing norms.
Age Limit: Acandidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would st complete the age on or before 31 December of the year of admission to the B.P.O. degree courses.

Duration: Four years Six Months- Full Time ( 6 Months Mandatory Internship)
Selection is based on Merit. Shortlisted candidates undergo a preliminary written test and interview at the time of counselling

The prospectus along with the application form is availale from April at the Administrative office.- ISHWAR Institute of Prosthetics & Orthotics, Chennai on payment of Rs.100/- ( Rupees One hundred only).These will also be available at the Endolite Prosthetics & Orthotics Centres at Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Vijaywada,Coimbatore, Mangalore, Kochi, Madurai, Vijayawada, Kolkata, Indore and Patna. The cost of the Prospectus is Non-Refundable. The Prospectus cum Application Form can also be obtained by Post by sending demand draft of Rs. 150/- ( Rupees One hundred and fifty only) drawn in favour of IIPO ( a unit of ISHWAR) payable at New Delhi. The application form can also be downloaded from the website and submitted duly filled along with Demand Draft of Rs.150/-( Rupees one hundred and fifty only) drawn in favour of IIPO ( a unit of ISHWAR) payable at New Delhi.
